Partnership with The Hortum in Bibliotheca bookstore!
The Hortum in Bibliotheca bookstore is the bookseller partner of the Congress. In collaboration with the FFP, an online catalog specifically dedicated to landscape architects has been created to offer you a more extensive selection. This catalog, consisting of reference works, new releases, and inspiring reading, can be viewed below. Feel free to broaden your search by browsing the other categories of the site according to your interests. You will find over 5,000 titles on the bookstore's website. If some of the books you are interested in are not listed, contact the bookstore directly. To ensure you purchase the titles you are looking for, you can pre-order books to enhance your library. You can either pick up your order at IFLA on September 11 or 12, 2025, or have it shipped worldwide.

Guiding Landscapes
Landscape architects play a key role in adapting cities to climate change at a variety of scales. Planning, conceiving, and managing new resilient urban districts, reorganizing the public realm by reopening soils, increasing rainwater infiltration, and developing urban biodiversity to cool cities are all essential challenges.
Understanding soil and its conditions is the first step in assessing a location’s potential for ecological and sustainable projects. This will be one of the key aspects we explore during our visits to Nantes.
Nantes has undergone significant urban transformations that have gained international recognition. One notable example is the “Plan Guide” for Ile de Nantes, an experimental landscape urbanism project that initiated discussions about the role of our profession in urban planning.
Numerous landscape architects have worked in France and in the Nantes region and are excited to share their experiences with you.
